2007.5-2012 Dodge Ram 2500 3500 6.7L Cummins ECM PCM ECU | Engine Computer Programmed Plug & Play | 4934056

Replace your failed Cummins engine computer with an OEM 2007.5-2012 Dodge Ram 2500 / 3500 6.7L Cummins ECM, programmed to your truck before it ships.

This module is a direct replacement for units carrying service number 4934056. Every unit is refurbished, bench-tested against OEM specification, and flashed with the latest manufacturer software.

Also replaces: 4945387

Make sure you need the ECM and not the PCM

On 1998.5 to 2002 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 5.9L 24 valve Cummins, the PCM and the ECM are two separate parts in two separate places, and replacing the wrong one is the most common mistake on this platform. The PCM sits on the passenger side firewall and runs the transmission, dash gauges, speedometer and fuel pump relay. The ECM bolts to the driver side of the engine block and controls the injection pump and fuel timing. Dead gauges, a no crank or an erratic transmission point to the PCM. A rough running engine, a stall or an injection pump fault points to the ECM.

From 2007.5 onward on the 6.7L, the ECM handles the engine and a separate TCM handles the transmission. If your fault is shifting related, you may need the TCM rather than this module. Call us and we will work it out with you before you spend anything.

What this costs elsewhere

A new unit through a Dodge dealer runs to around two thousand dollars, and specialist remanufacturers commonly charge between one thousand and fifteen hundred. Many of them also require you to send your old module back before the warranty becomes active.

No core charge, and no core to send back

There is no core charge on this module, no deposit and nothing to return. Keep your old unit. Your lifetime warranty starts the day the module ships, not the day your core arrives.

What you receive

  • Programmed to your VIN before dispatch, so it installs plug and play
  • Bench-tested by our technicians before it leaves us
  • Lifetime warranty for as long as you own the truck
  • Free US shipping, typically delivered in 2-4 business days
  • No core charge, no core return required

Common symptoms of a failed Cummins ECM

  • Engine cranks but will not start
  • Stalling without warning while driving
  • Hard starting, particularly when cold
  • Erratic engine behaviour or sudden loss of power
  • No communication with a scan tool

Before you order

Enter your 17-character VIN at checkout, and read the service number off the label on your existing module if you can. If you are unsure which part you need, call 516-494-7838 and a technician will confirm fitment before anything ships.
