Replace your failed engine computer with an OEM 2011 Dodge Journey 3.6L PCM (also called an ECM or ECU), programmed to your vehicle before it ships.
This module is a direct replacement for units carrying service number 68080354AK, generic number 05150618AA, 05150618AB. Every unit is refurbished, bench-tested against OEM specification, and flashed with the latest manufacturer software.
Confirm it is the PCM before you buy
On 2010-2014 Journeys, a failing Sentry Key immobiliser or a faulty TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) produces the same symptoms as a dead PCM – stalling, no start, erratic shifting, a check engine light that will not clear. Rule those out first. The clearest evidence that the module itself has failed is an internal fault code in the P0601 to P0606 range, or no communication with the module at all.
No core charge, and no core to send back
Most suppliers of Journey engine computers require a core exchange, and several only activate the lifetime warranty once your old module reaches them within a set number of days. We do not. No core charge, no deposit, nothing to return. Keep your old unit and your warranty starts the day yours ships.
Why these modules must be programmed
Journey uses the Sentry Key anti-theft system. The engine computer, keys and immobiliser must be registered to each other or the engine will crank without starting. We programme the module to your VIN before dispatch, so you avoid dealer programming fees.
