Replace your failed fuel injection control module (FICM) with an OEM 2004 Ford F-Series 6.0L Power Stroke unit, programmed and tested before it ships.

This module is a direct replacement for units carrying reference GL-4003. Every unit is refurbished, bench-tested against OEM specification, and flashed with the latest manufacturer software.

Is it the FICM or the PCM?

On the 6.0L Power Stroke Power Stroke the PCM is the primary computer, but it works alongside the FICM and the glow plug control module. Hard starting, a no start, stalling and rough running can come from any of them. The FICM supplies the 48 volt signal the injectors need to open. As it weakens, the engine becomes hard to start when cold, runs rough until it warms, and may set injector circuit codes on several cylinders at once.

Before replacing anything, have the FICM output voltage checked with a scan tool. A healthy FICM holds close to 48 volts under load – readings in the low 40s point to a failing module. If you are not sure, call us and we will work through it with you before you spend anything.
