TIPM | TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE

Totally Integrated Power Modules (TIPM) for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. The TIPM combines the fuse box and relay centre with a control module, managing the fuel pump, headlights, wipers, horn, power windows, door locks and trailer lighting. Because it controls so many unrelated systems, a failure produces symptoms that look like several separate faults at once: an engine that will not start because the fuel pump relay has failed, wipers running on their own, a horn sounding at random, or lights working intermittently. On 2007 to 2016 vehicles the fuel pump relay usually fails first and the remaining relays follow over the months afterwards.
