Replace your failed engine computer with an OEM 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L ECM (also called a PCM or ECU), programmed to your vehicle before it ships.
This module is a direct replacement for units carrying part number 39110-38170. Every unit is refurbished, bench-tested against OEM specification, and flashed with the latest manufacturer software.
Fitment note: Manual transmission, Federal emissions.
No core deposit, and no dealer visit
Other suppliers of Hyundai modules commonly add a refundable core deposit of around 100 dollars to the price, and ship the unit unprogrammed with a note that it will likely need programming by a dealer. That means paying the deposit, waiting to get it back, and then paying a dealer to code the module before the car will run.
We do neither. There is no core charge and nothing to send back, and the module arrives already programmed to your VIN, so it installs and starts the vehicle without a dealer or locksmith.
Why Hyundai modules must be programmed
These vehicles use an immobiliser. The engine computer, keys and immobiliser must be registered to each other or the engine will crank without starting. That is why a blank module bought cheaply elsewhere often leaves the car turning over but never firing.
Check transmission and emissions type before ordering
Hyundai uses different calibrations for automatic and manual transmissions, and between Federal and California emissions vehicles. Some model years also split by build date. Read the part number from the label on your existing module, or send us your VIN and we will identify the correct unit before anything ships.
